Stereotypes Audio is the place in Portland to find the new king of subwoofers, the Velodyne DD+
**(This is an outdated/archived post. Be sure to contact us for the latest JL Audio subwoofers that we carry. We no longer carry Velodyne products)
Velodyne has reclaimed it’s place as one of the top subwoofer makers in the industry, with it’s new line of Digital Drive Plus Series subs. They set a new industry benchmark in low distortion bass, reproducing the most challenging bass of today’s movies and music, with less than 1/2% distortion. It balances the most deep and powerful bass, with the greatest subtleties of music. Some of those ‘other’ subwoofer companies have made a lot noise in recent years, but Velodyne is firmly answered back with this new line of subs, and Stereotypes Audio is the place in Portland to find them. They come in 10, 12, 15 and even an 18″ ‘1812 Signature Edition’ 3,000 watt beast. It also has some of the best room correction tools in the industry. You can find out more information here as well as a review by John E. Johnson Jr. here. But your best option is to come in for an audition!
