We have the new Shunyata Research Gemini 4 port in and ready to audition. The GEMINI Model-4 is a unique product that is actually two devices in a single chassis. It includes both a high performance power conditioner and an advanced ground noise reduction hub. The GEMINI Model-4 is the perfect solution for simpler high-end systems, headphone systems and for network closets. Headphones are particularly sensitive to power line noise and ground plane noise. The GEMINI Model-4 has a small footprint, it is a high current device capable of powering 200+ watt amplifiers.

We have the new New Shunyata Research Typhon T2. The two-outlet Typhon T2 is a one-of-a-kind product with three dynamic and unique functions. When the Typhon T2 is connected as a stand-alone two-outlet reference power distributor it will super-charge the performance of even the world’s most demanding amplifiers. The Typhon T2 also comes equipped to receive an optional Performance or Reference level umbilical, allowing it to be connected in-line to any Shunyata power-distributor as a performance force-multiplier of the first order. Shunyata Research has just released a slew of new products in the past couple of weeks, including the XC series power cables, and v2 NR series power cables. We are not currently showing the new Omega series, but do have the Venom, Delta, Alpha, and Sigma series. These have once again raised the bar for what is possible from power cables. We have the brand new Shunyata Denali line of power conditioners from Shunyata Research in stock and on the floor ready to demo. We’ve been enjoying both the amazing sound and wonderful new form factor of this new line from Shunyata! It’s nice not having to bend too far down or get behind gear to reach the power plugs. This new Hydra line falls just below the Hydra Typhoon series, and comes in three form factors, standard shelf unit (D6000/S) with a 20-amp breaker, the new tall form factor flagship 600oT with two high current outlets and four source/preamp outlets with the new ‘medical’ filters and a 30-amp electromagnetic breaker, and then finally the smaller vertical floor unit, the 2000/T, with 2 outlets and a 20-amp breaker. Shunyata Research has been on a roll lately, with their new Sigma line of power cords that stops component noise at the source… the actual component. 15 years of in the making of evolutionary design advancements has brought about their most radical change yet! One of the benefits of being in the NW, is the close proximity to some wonderful HiFi makers. Case in point, Shunyata Research up in Poulsbo, WA. We had an informative visit from Richard of Shunyata today, and he left us with a whole stack of goodies! Shunyata Research’s new reference power distribution Hydra Triton+Typhon! These are on loan for us to demo this month, so now is your chance to check out what all of the press is going crazy about! (review here) The Shunyata Triton was already an amazing product, but designer Caelin Gabriel decided to take it to the next level with a no limits two box option, adding on the Shunyata Typhon and connecting it with an Anaconda umbilical chord. While you could spring for the whole set up, you can also take a ‘build as you go’ approach. This combination reaches reference levels never before seen in a Shunyata product.
