To say that ‘we’ve got a lot of new products in’ would be an understatement. Here’s a short list of some of what we’ve unboxed recently. We’ve got the new Parasound Halo Integrated amplifier. This one will be sure to please not only the reviewers, but the listeners. We also have the new Cambridge CX line of Integrated Amplifiers. Both the CX A60 and CX A80 Integrated Amplifiers. (btw, Cambridge dropped the ‘Audio’ part of their name). Update: We just got in the Cambridge CXN Network Music Player, and it’s sounding quite wonderful! We also have in the MyGroov phono stage from Micromega, to join our MyAmp and MyDAC. We’ve already mentioned this before, but we also have the wonderful new affordable JL Audio Dominion subwoofers in the 8″ and 10″. Our Home Theater/Multi-channel room is sporting the Marantz Preamplifier AV7702. (in addition to the Focal Aria center channel CC900). And in case you missed this before, we have the truly amazing and well reviewed Moon 430HA by Simaudio headphone amplifier with optional built-in DAC. Wow. This is as good as it gets for headphone amplifiers. We have it in place with our line of headphones, so that you can hear every ‘can at their absolute best. It’s so good, you could even use it as your system DAC.

Harbeth 30.1 Speakers Ready For Audition

**(This is an outdated/archived post. Be sure to contact us for the latest Harbeth Speakers that we carry)

Welcome the new Harbeth 30.1’s!  We now have these beautiful speakers ready for audition.  Pick a couple of your favorite CD’s and stop by today.

“The original Monitor 30 was developed in 1997 as a replacement for the LS5/9 BBC studio loudspeaker and has a well-rounded sound which has made this model the longest running Harbeth success. Compared with its big brother Monitor 40.1, the cabinet is only about half the height and a quarter the volume – yet the Monitor 30.1 achieves effortless clarity throughout the midrange with a well controlled bass that brings music to life in a wide range of listening environments.

The upgraded Monitor 30.1 has been produced in 2012, Harbeth’s 35th anniversary year. It features the RADIAL2™ mid/bass drive unit from the flagship M40.1, a newly refined SEAS tweeter and a redesigned crossover made possible thanks to advances in engineering simulation technology. These changes have resulted in a more open sound, a smoother response with wider, more even dispersion which means more flexibility over stand height and an enhanced listener experience than its highly regarded predecessor even off axis.”

We had a great time at this year’s Rocky Mountain AudioFest Show. This was our first trip to the show in Denver, and apparently it was one of the biggest ones yet. A great time was had by all, good music, great audio, amazing food, and even our hotel had over 15 amazing microbrews on tap. Does it get any better? We really enjoyed hooking up with several of our favorite distributors and brands. (more…)

The new Rega Brio-R is in, and it’s probably one of the best values this year (along with the PSB Minis)!

**(This is an outdated/archived post. Be sure to contact us for the latest Rega and PSB products that we carry)

We just got the new Rega Brio-R in, and we’re breaking it in along with the new PSB Imagine Mini speakers. This combo may represent one of the best values for top notch sound for the least price ever! The Brio has gone up slightly in cost, but has gone down in size to the smaller form factor that the Rega DAC has. In fact they make a great pair together. (BTW, the R stands for Remote, which is very nice). (more…)
