This is great for Recording Professionals, Home Studios and Project Studios that want to get the high end direct digital signal out of your iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone. There are so many great apps out there that make these Apple devices indispensable to the modern recording professional. It also can be a great audiophile dock to get the digital signal into a better DAC (since the iPad, iPod and iPhone has a ‘modest’ DAC in them). They have an outboard power supply, a video output, a AES/EBU XLR digital Audio Out, a Toslink digital audio out, a S/PDIF / Co-axial Out, and even a USB socket for easy syncing.
