New Cambridge Audio Minx Xi Network Streamer does it ALL (and very well, thank you)
**(This is an outdated/archived post. Be sure to contact us for the latest Cambridge Audio products that we carry)
We’ve just gotten in the brand new Cambridge Audio Minx Xi. At first glance, this may just look like another network music streamer. But it’s so much more than that. Besides network music streaming, it also boasts a 40w per channel integrated amp, making this a very compact and sophisticated small system when combined with compact bookshelf speakers (like our PSB Imagine Minis). We’ve got a white one on our floor ready to audition. The list of features/options reads like the latest AVR receiver, but with Cambridge Audio’s amazing feature set. After you read the compelling list, be sure to watch their intro video. Then come down to audition one today! Network music streaming via wifi or ethernet, internal Wolfson DACs with USB, Toslink, and S/PDIF digital connections (plays up to 24/96 files, including FLAC, WAV, AIFF, WMA, AAC, etc.), 2 sets of RCA analog inputs, headphone output, 3.5mm analog input (for iPods/etc.), 20,000 internet radio stations, built in streaming support (like Pandora, Rhapsody, etc.), Bluetooth, A full iOS/Android app, oversized Toroidal power supply, Class AB 40w amplifier, subwoofer output, and it borrows the external clocking taken from their high-end NP30 network player, minimizing jitter. Read an early review here. This makes one amazingly stylish and compact 2.1 system. We also have the 851A Integrated Amplifier and 651R Home Theater receiver from Cambridge Audio. Amazing gear and a practical price point.
