To say that ‘we’ve got a lot of new products in’ would be an understatement. Here’s a short list of some of what we’ve unboxed recently. We’ve got the new Parasound Halo Integrated amplifier. This one will be sure to please not only the reviewers, but the listeners. We also have the new Cambridge CX line of Integrated Amplifiers. Both the CX A60 and CX A80 Integrated Amplifiers. (btw, Cambridge dropped the ‘Audio’ part of their name). Update: We just got in the Cambridge CXN Network Music Player, and it’s sounding quite wonderful! We also have in the MyGroov phono stage from Micromega, to join our MyAmp and MyDAC. We’ve already mentioned this before, but we also have the wonderful new affordable JL Audio Dominion subwoofers in the 8″ and 10″. Our Home Theater/Multi-channel room is sporting the Marantz Preamplifier AV7702. (in addition to the Focal Aria center channel CC900). And in case you missed this before, we have the truly amazing and well reviewed Moon 430HA by Simaudio headphone amplifier with optional built-in DAC. Wow. This is as good as it gets for headphone amplifiers. We have it in place with our line of headphones, so that you can hear every ‘can at their absolute best. It’s so good, you could even use it as your system DAC.

One of our favorite speakers from early last year, the Pro-Ac D30R is now back in stock (in cherry). We also now have the new Pro-Ac D20R in stock. (in cherry). We’re probably one of the few Pro-Ac Speaker dealers in North America that has these in stock right now. Both Pro-Ac speakers are sounding wonderful, and have that amazingly natural mid-range that Pro-Ac is famous for, combined with their smooth Ribbon tweeter. Come check them out! You’ve probably heard about the amazing line of Focal Aria speakers with their flax drivers and wonderful natural sound. And now, we have many more of them to listen to. We have a ‘near’  (sorry, someone fell in love with our 948s) full line up of the Aria line for you to audition at every price range. Here’s a list of what we have in right now: Floorstander Focal Aria 936 and Focal Aria 926, the stand mounted Focal Aria 906 and Focal Aria 905, Focal Aria center CC900, and the Focal Aria surrounds SR900. We’ve got some new products in for you this week at Stereotypes Audio of Portland! We’ve been breaking in the all new Moon Neo 280D DAC this week, and it’s sounding great! DSD256, 32/384, Neo case, bluetooth, full asynchronous USB, and optional MiND. It’s price/performance breakthrough for amazing sound. You’ve got to hear it to truly appreciate what they’ve done with this. In the same vein, JL Audio has created the new Dominion line of value home subwoofers in the 8″ and 10″ flavors in a more simple cabinet, but with still amazing sound. If you’ve been pining after a more affordable JL Audio sub, this one is it! (this is so new, they don’t even have it at their site yet!) And it’s great paired with smaller bookshelf speakers. We also have the Dali Menuet bookshelf speakers in, and they sound wonderful, all in a very compact size. If you check our Facebook page, you can see some additional images here, here and here.

Whole house audio and wireless music has become a hot category these days, with lots of players emerging everyday. But one newer player has a well established pedigree to back it up: BlueSound. They are made up of designers, engineers and individuals from the music industry, hailing from such great audio companies as NAD and PSB, with their focus solely on audio quality, they’ve unleashed a full onslaught of high end wireless audio products to give you a complete solution. While other whole house systems do a great job of streaming music easily throughout the home, BlueSound adds better than CD quality, with resolutions up to 24/192! (the other players can’t do that. Shunyata Research has been on a roll lately, with their new Sigma line of power cords that stops component noise at the source… the actual component. 15 years of in the making of evolutionary design advancements has brought about their most radical change yet! And you have to hear the difference to believe it. While noise does come from outside of the home, most occurs from within the home, and especially from each component themselves. Shunyata refers to this as CCI (Component-to-Component-Interference), you can learn more about it with their video here. These new Analog, Digital and High Current cables have all of the most advanced Shunyata technology built into them, with their highest performing ΞTRON™ circuits, VTX wire, and new Sigma tech. Each cable is specifically designed for that type of component, stopping component noise at it’s source to alleviate cross component contamination.

We’ve got a ton of quick news to tell you about (and we hope to fill in more later). One of the big announcements at CES 2015, was the new Moon by Simaudio Neo 280D DAC. We have several on order, and they should be here sometime in early March. It’s a full Neo case with 24/97, 24/192, 32/384, DSD up to 256, DXD, and even Bluetooth. We’re looking forward to hearing that one. We also have the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon (DC) turntables, in both standard and Esprit SB options. Shunyata Research is once again blowing us away with their amazing power cables, with the introduction of the new Shunyata ZTron SIGMA series of power cords. You gotta here these and the impact they will make on your music! If you’re looking to bring high resolution music to your whole house in an easy to use system, we’ve got you covered with Bluesound, with amazing sound with up to 24/192 in a full host of file options, and it now is streaming Tidal! The high resolution music streaming service that’s set to change the streaming landscape. We also carry the line up of Devialet music systems, which both sound AND look amazing! (Featuring their SAM technology customized for your speakers). Everyone has been singing Devialet’s praises in the press, including the cover feature in the latest Absolute Sound for February, as well as even many of the other online publications, like this. We also still have a few more PSB headphones to be had on sale. And don’t forget our new line up of Rogue Audio gear!

The new Naim Mu-so. A glorified speaker sound bar? Hardly. It’s an all-in-one killer new product that’s hard to fully appreciate without seeing and hearing. Yes, sure it’s a sound bar speaker that is wireless, but it’s also all Naim electronics, built into this one sleek unit. It’s a top notch wireless music system, that is reminiscent of their flagship statement system, but as a more affordable simple package. Six custom speaker drivers controlled by probably one of the most gorgeous volume controls we’ve ever touched (And you’ll probably be enticed as well to touch it). This is a product that is equal in both sight and sound! We’ll have more information here soon about it, but for now… you can read more about it at Naim Audio’s page here, or read a couple reviews here and here. We’ve got one on the floor to hear and see, but this thing is already becoming such a hot ticket item that demand is constraining initial supplies. Come in today and give it an audition!

Stereotypes Audio of Portland gets Rogue Audio. We have several great pieces on our floor now, and are breaking in quite nicely! This includes the Sphinx hybrid integrated, the Cronus Magnum II (full tube Integrated), the new RP-1 Preamplifier, and the Ninety-Nine and Super Magnum Preamp, as well as the Stereo 100 Power Amp (Currently out on demo). We’ll be posting more information soon about this great line of products!

New Products in: Moon by Simaudio Neo 380D DSD Dac is in! New Micromega MyAmp, and Cambridge Audio Aero2 Speakers (review here). The new Micromega MyAmp is so tiny, you won’t even believe it until you see it in person yourself! And the new Neo 380D DSD Dac from Simaudio takes an amazing product and makes even better! The new Cambridge Audio Aero 2 speakers are sounding great as well. More info on these will be posted soon!
