We have the new Kanto Syd speaker, a wider one speaker solution for filling your room with great music. Just like the Kanto Yumi speakers we have carried, Syd also is powered and has the same great features: Bluetooth, phono and RCA analog input, optical input, mini-jack input, and comes with a remote control. Just add a source and you’re ready to go! (even just a smart phone) Probably one of the easiest solutions to getting going with vinyl if you have dusted off that old turntable in the garage. Just plug it into the Syd speaker, and you’re ready to wax poetic about the ‘old days’ of vinyl (or the thousands of great new stuff coming out every week!)

A truly gorgeous looking and sounding cube speaker that has a built-in DAC, music streamer, and integrated amplifier. Naim has packed a lot of amazing technology into this compact and beautiful package. It’s also a S&V Top Pick of the Year. Can we some up the new Focal Scala Utopia EVO speakers with just one word? Yes. AMAZING. We were so smitten with the last Scala Utopia’s that it would seem a daunting task to top them, but they have. They sound truly amazing right out of the box, and the new finish we have for our demos is stunning. You truly have to see them to appreciate the work that Focal has put into these. There are also a lot of simple details that are different from the previous generation that enhance the overall look and feel. New features include: cables made in France, denser acoustic materials inside the subwoofer, double terminal boards and separate crossovers. Be sure to stop in some time soon and check out these beauties from Focal, leave enough time to give them a real listen!

The latest edition of The Absolute Sound (Nov 2017) features the “50 Greatest Bargains in High End Audio” for which we have many of the featured products on hand and ready to demo. The new Focal Kanta No. 2 speakers arrived on Friday last week, and we’ve been marveling in them ever since! Wow, right out of the box they were producing magic… and by Monday they we’re sounding absolutely sublime. The mating of their latest generation beryllium tweeter and Flax drivers is absolutely seamless. Detailed, musical, airy, and magical… it’s hard to completely describe the wonder that are these new Focal speakers. Combine that with their unimposing compact size and beautiful finish work, and you have a winner. You have to hear and see these to fully appreciate what Focal has pulled off with the Kanta No. 2. We just got the new ProAc DT8 speakers in stock, and are the floor ready to demo. These are another great compact floor stander from British monitor maker ProAc. Similar in size to the discontinued Studio 140 MK II, it’s an entirely new speaker, using a driver arrangement similar to the Response D48s. We have the new Spendor A6R speakers are here and ready to demo. The new 2-way Spendor speakers feature a 18cm main drive unit with technology developed for the D7 speakers. We also have those Spendor D7s on display in Rosewood finish and are ready to demo now.

We now have a wonderful pair of Dali Opticon 6 speakers in our Bamboo listening room. These speakers offer a lot and represent a great value for the quality of music they produce. We’ve been enjoying them thoroughly with several different Integrated Amplifiers in our bamboo room, including our new NAD Hybrid Digital DAC Integrated Amplifier C368. The Option 6s have twin 6.5″ low-loss Wood Fibre Woofer, and combine a soft dome and Ribbon Tweeter module. We have a fresh new supply of the wonderful ProAc D20R floor standing speakers in stock and in our listening room ready to audition. The D20R is a nice complement to the D30Rs that we carry. If you love the natural mid-range that ProAcs get so ‘right’, then you’ll love the D20R and D30R, with their ribbon tweeters that blend seamlessly with the 6.5″ bass driver. We have the new Focal Elear headphones on our floor and ready to demo! (and we can order the Utopia headphones  for you as well). We also have the IsoAcoustics Gaia I speaker isolation. Their stand mount products have already done amazing things for our stand mount speakers, these will be great for floor standers!
